About Me

I'm 28 years old and I just recently moved to sunny California. My husband, Diego, is originally from this area and we moved here to be near his family for awhile. It's definitely a big change from the small town Indiana countryside that I am used to; however, I am slowly adjusting to the West Coast city lifestyle. I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Secondary English Education. Now I just need to find a job--which could be quite a feat since the LA school district just laid off a large number of teachers! But there has to be something out there for me, right?! In the past year or so, cakes and cupcakes have become my obsession, which I hope will eventually become a business! My life has been kinda crazy the past three or so years and doesn't look to be slowing down. I want to write about my experiences and my sister Jennica keeps encouraging me to start a blog, so here I am! Thanks for stopping by!
