Definitely Indiana Weather :)

Well, it's been a stormy day. Actually, the day started off fairly nice. Dad and D got up early and went golfing. But by early afternoon it was looking rainy out. D and I went up to church in lake station w/ Mom and Dad. Afterwards, we went out to eat w/ Aunt Mary, Uncle Chris and Becky. By the time we headed home, it was super storming. Lots of rain, sharp lightning, and thunder. Definitely Indiana weather. haha. That pretty much sums up my day. I hung out in the morning, went up north, and then just hung out working on some things when we got back.

It looks like we will be going up to Chicago tomorrow to go to a convention to find out some things about a business. We'll see what we find out. I'll keep you updated. :)

In the meantime, here are some pictures from last Sunday and Monday.

Sunday 4/29: Grilling out some steaks for dinner

The grill master!

Me and D...

Mom was busy in the kitchen whipping up some corn casserole and other yummy goodness!

Hanging out by the grill

Our delicious meal!

Jennica, hanging out on the porch enjoying the rain...

Monday 4/30: Making homemade pizza for dinner

Aunt Lorie and Ryan were coming over, so we made three pizzas for all of us

Me making the veggie pizza

The electric went out while the pizzas were baking. The water had been off earlier in the day. Plus, we were having trouble with the phones, so it was kind of a crazy day.

We waited for awhile, but then got impatient and decided to try and cook the pizzas on the grill. haha. Thankfully, the electric came back on right before we stuck Mom's good cookie sheets over the fire. I think she was pretty relieved. haha ;)

Dad was all ready to grill!

Finally, after hours of waiting, our pizzas were ready!

Getting ready to dig in!

Diego and Ryan

Jennica, Aunt Lorie, and me

The before shot: Yummy!

Afterwards! We wiped out the hamburger pizza...you can tell what the favorite was, huh! (it's def my favorite!)
Well, I think I'm going to hit the hay because we have to get up early in the AM. Happy Sunday, everyone! :) Goodnight!

Got my dress!

I <3 Saturday mornings in Indiana! I was never the biggest fan of them in Cali, but I like them here. Woke up to a hazy sky, but as the morning has progressed it's gotten sunnier! yay! I'm not sure what our plans are for today. I think Margaret has our bridal dresses ready, so we'll probably go pick those up sometime this afternoon. D and I went for a walk this morning, so that was nice. We tried to take Snickle w/ us, but she hates riding in the car! I was trying to get her in the truck and her collar actually slipped off, so she went running back to the house. We were really close to the highway, so I was just glad that she didn't run in that direction.

So Diego has been here in Indiana a week now! He flew in a week ago  Friday...Jennica and I drove down to Indy to pick him up.

We stopped by  Denny's in Lebanon to eat some dinner on our way home..

Our first picture together back in Indiana

We both ordered breakfast for dinner...yum!

Jennica got a sandwich..her usual!

She had contemplated getting the moons over my hammy sandwich...haha what a funny name!

The waiter brought us lots of syrup. he kept talking about how the wheat pancakes soak up all the syrup...i order them all the time and have never needed that much syrup! haha

We stopped by Jennica's apartment on the way home to rensl...D looking at some of her old records..

Saturday 4/28: We went to Pizza Hut for dinner. That place is crazy! they dropped a slice of our pizza and so brought our pizza out with a slice missing...huh? They should have made us a new pizza. haha

Waiting for our food to get there...

We stopped by to see Grandma...

and we took her some ice cream from Busy Bee's!

Sipping on a peanut butter banana shake! My favorite...

Jennica!

Photo wall that the Stewarts have put together @ Grandma's house...

Grandma had the heater on and it was soooo warm in there! D feel asleep and I almost did too! haha

Aunt Key sent Mom some of her favorite cookies from the Kroger over there in Peru. I guess Laffy Kroger doesn't carry them...

Playing some Uno!

Dad!

Sister!

A full hand of cards...

We used to play this game ALL the time when we were in Florida...

Shopping in Laffy

Just a quick update. This past week has flown by!

Wednesday 4/25: Jennica working on her paper

Me watching ctfxc

Thursday 4/26: Mom and I went shopping in Laffy. We stopped by Sear Optical to look @ some glasses

What do you think of this pair? I know I don't look good in glasses, but I desperately need a new pair!

I'm not usually a hat person, but I bought this for when I go walk outside, etc.

Looking @ purses

Mom really liked this purse!

Next, we went shopping @ Kroger

Lunch @ Culver's! Hadn't eaten here in forever! I haven't seen them in California...

Getting ready to dig into my Butter burger

Shopping @ Walmart...cute umbrella!
Mom and I spent the entire day down in Laffy. Then we raced home to go see "Titantic" with Jennica. It was the last day they were showing it in theaters! It was really good! I hadn't watched the movie in forever. I thought I would get bored with it because I used to watch it all the time, but I was actually entertained the entire time!

Well, I have a lot more pictures to add, but I'll have to do that later. Right now, I need to get ready to head out. Jennica, Diego, and I are going down to Indy tonight to meet up with Bryan and Kristina. I think we're going to help Kristina with some napkins/wedding favors, give them their wedding gift, and maybe go for dinner. Only about a week until their wedding!!!

Things have been busy around here. We've been talking about a business idea, so we'll see what happens with that. Also, my grandpa is in the hospital and is not doing so well. He had been complaining about chest pain and not not being able to breath and then yesterday morning Luann called my dad all hysterical saying that Grandpa couldn't breath. The ambulance took him to Jasper County Hospital and then they lifelined him to the hospital in Laffy. His heart is functioning at only 15 % due to congestive heart failure. I don't think they're much that they can do for him. They had him on life support to help him breath more easily, but they removed the tubes this morning. He seems to be doing fairly well, but I don't know what will happen.

Well, I need to go get ready! I'll try to upload more pictures either tonight or tomorrow. :)
